Reading the passage
This is an EXCEPT question: four choices describe policies B calls for, and one adds a restriction it doesn't impose. Keep the method and purpose of an activity separate from the identity of the organization doing it. Rules against commercial exploitation don't automatically exclude every private company.
Working the answers
- A
Provision 7 expressly encourages practicable public access for nonintrusive activities, with photography as an example. This policy is included.
- B
Provision 2 calls commercial exploitation for sale incompatible with proper protection and management. A prohibition on selling the heritage reflects that policy.
- C
Provision 1 makes preservation at the original site the first option. That is what in situ means here.
- D
Provision 5 requires avoiding unnecessary disturbance of human remains. It isn't a ban on every possible removal, but it is a restriction, which is all D claims.
- ECorrect
B doesn't prohibit contracts with private companies. A company could participate in permitted research or another compliant activity. The objection is to commercial exploitation and harmful methods, not private involvement as such. Adding a blanket ban on company contracts goes beyond the stated policies.
