Frequently Asked Questions | Hey Future Lawyer
Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect from the Free, Monthly, and Yearly plans?
Our Free plan is designed to introduce you to our platform and help you determine if our curriculum and explanations align with your learning style. You’ll get access to one official full-length LSAT with detailed video and written explanations for review. Our Monthly plan unlocks all 58 official LSATs, exclusive lessons, and live structured LSAT classes with our experienced instructors. For the best value, the Yearly plan gives you all the benefits of Monthly while saving you money over the course of your LSAT prep journey. Please note that if you choose to purchase LawHub Advantage through HFL that amount will only be charged once.
How do I choose the right plan for my LSAT prep?
We suggest starting with the Yearly plan, which offers the best value for students committed to mastering the LSAT over time. This plan provides access to all 58 official LSATs, exclusive lessons, and live structured LSAT classes taught by our expert instructors—all at a discounted rate compared to the Monthly plan. By choosing Yearly, you’ll maximize your time and investment, allowing yourself to dive deeper into the material with consistent support from top-scoring teachers.
Am I able to change my plan after starting?
Absolutely, you’re free to change your plan at any time. If you upgrade to a higher-tier plan before your renewal date, any remaining time on your current plan will be credited toward the cost of the upgrade, making your transition seamless. If you downgrade, your current plan will stay active until the end of the billing period, and then you’ll automatically move to the new, lower-tier plan.
How does upgrading work if I want to switch plans?
When upgrading, we’ll offset the remaining time left on your current plan against the cost of the upgraded plan. For example, if you have days left on your Monthly plan and choose to move up to the Yearly plan, the cost of the remaining days will be subtracted from your first payment for the Yearly plan. Your new renewal date will be set to align with the start of the new plan.
What’s the purpose of LawHub Advantage, and why do I need it?
LawHub Advantage is an LSAC requirement to access the official LSAT questions online. It costs $120 annually and is necessary for full access to LSAT materials across platforms. If you already have a subscription through LSAC, you don’t need to repurchase here. Just note that LawHub Advantage is separate from your LSAC account used for exam registration and application services. For those with a fee waiver from LSAC, a one-year LawHub Advantage subscription is included at no additional cost.
What’s the policy for canceling my Hey Future Lawyer subscription?
Your subscription starts as soon as payment is processed. Monthly plans renew automatically each month until you choose to cancel. Yearly plans also begin immediately but do not renew automatically, giving you a full year of access without worry about recurring charges. If you're unsatisfied, you have up to 7 days to request a refund for your subscription by contacting our customer support team at support@heyfuturelawyer.com. Please note, however, that LawHub Advantage payments are non-refundable since they are managed separately by LSAC.
What is the LSAC fee waiver, and how does it impact my plan cost?
The LSAC fee waiver program is designed to support those needing financial assistance with LSAT fees or law school applications. If you have a valid fee waiver from LSAC, you'll receive discounts—you can enroll and access our Monthly Plan for $149 or Yearly plan for just $499. Please submit your email on our waiver page or send your waiver to support@heyfuturelawyer.com, and we will review it and contact you to help you get your account set up.
If I switch to a lower plan or free, will my progress be saved?
Yes, switching to another plan—even Free—will retain all your progress, practice data, notes, and messages. Your data will be safely stored and available for whenever you resubscribe. Just be sure not to delete your account, as this would erase all your data.
