Teach the LSAT to students who are serious about law school. The work is remote, the hours are flexible, and you teach from a curriculum that is already built.
Every hire starts with this application. If it looks like a fit, the next step is a short interview where you teach a real LSAT question.
We strongly prefer applicants who have studied or worked with Hey Future Lawyer.
This is the single biggest factor in who we hire. If you took our course, worked with one of our tutors, sat in our live classes, or tutored for us before, you already know our curriculum, our approach to the test, and the way we explain questions. That is most of the job.
Applicants with that history move to the front of the line. A former HFL student with a strong score and a good teaching sample beats an outside applicant with a similar profile nearly every time. Everyone else is still welcome to apply. Just know the bar is higher, and be specific about how you teach.
What the role is
One-on-one LSAT tutoring over Zoom, plus optional live class teaching once you are up to speed. You set your weekly availability and we match students to it.

Who we hire
- Former HFL students and tutors. The strongest signal we have. You already know how we teach.
- High scorers who can teach. Most of our tutors score 170 or higher, but the interview is about explaining, not scoring.
- Reliable schedulers. Students build their week around their session, so showing up matters more than anything.
- Straight talkers. We want tutors who tell a student what is actually going wrong.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to have studied with Hey Future Lawyer to apply?
No. Anyone can apply. We are honest that we prefer applicants who already know our curriculum and how we teach, because they need far less ramp up and they already explain questions the way our students expect. If you have not studied with us, tell us about your teaching and we will still read it.
What LSAT score do you look for?
Most of our tutors score 170 or higher. A high score on its own is not enough. Scoring well and teaching well are different skills, so the next step after a promising application is an interview where you actually teach a question.
What happens after I apply?
Your application goes straight to our tutoring team. If it looks like a fit, we send you a tutor interview: a few short questions about how you think about the test, two Logical Reasoning questions to write out, and one brief video where you teach a question out loud.
How many hours would I tutor?
It is flexible and it depends on demand and your availability. Most of our tutors work part time around school or another job. Tell us what you can realistically commit to and we will be straight with you about what we have.
Is this remote?
Yes. All sessions happen over Zoom, so you can tutor from anywhere in the US.
