Reading the passage
Keep two limits in view: this is a NOT question, and it asks about A. A claim that appears in B can therefore be the answer even if it's familiar and true. We'll check which four claims A actually makes.
Working the answers
- A
A's last sentence expressly describes ethnic and linguistic ties to Roma living in other countries. This is stated, so eliminate it.
- B
A connects some Roma's lack of citizenship partly to “their nomadic way of life.” That supplies the claim about nomadism.
- C
A directly says that the Roma “do not have a homeland.”
- DCorrect
A gives no population figures. The reference to hundreds of thousands and even millions appears in B, where it helps show that large numbers still needn't make the Roma a majority. D comes from the wrong text for this question.
- E
A first notes difficulties for numerous minority groups, then calls the problem “particularly problematic” for the Roma. That singles them out as especially affected.
