Higher LSAT scores by actually understanding the test
We are the LSAT program for people who want a top score and a top school. We teach you to understand the arguments and passages instead of memorizing your way around them, which is why the jumps are bigger and they hold.
The LSAT is the highest paid test you will ever take
A high LSAT score does two things at once. It decides where you get in, and it decides how much you pay to be there. The second one is bigger, and almost nobody runs the numbers on it.
Where you get in decides what you earn
Start with where you get in, because the money follows it. A lawyer coming out of the right school starts around $250,000 a year in Big Law. A lawyer coming out of the wrong one often lands work that pays in the five figures. The thing that decides which side of that line you end up on is largely which school you get into, and the thing that decides which schools you get into is your LSAT score.
See exactly which schools feed Big Law at heyfuturelawyer.com/outcomes.
The part almost everyone misses
Law schools are ranked partly on the median LSAT of the students they admit, so there is real pressure on them to attract applicants who score above it. Grant money is how they compete. Across the 195 ABA accredited schools, 79 percent of students receive some grant aid, and 7 percent receive an award covering full tuition or more.
A full tuition award across three years is most of the cost of attendance, which at many schools runs past $200,000. Your score is not only an admissions key. It is part of what determines the price you are offered.
Figures are from schools' ABA 509 disclosures, which report the grants enrolled students received. They describe past classes, not what any applicant will be offered, and a few schools award on demonstrated financial need alone.
Here is the part that hurts. Every scholarship dollar you do not earn is a dollar you borrow, at interest, and pay back for ten years. So going in underprepared is not the cheap option. It is the most expensive decision in the whole process, and the bill just shows up later with interest on top.
There is only one expensive way to take the LSAT, and that is to take it underprepared.
One scholarship pays for this several times over.
Most courses are built to keep you busy
So the stakes are enormous. Most LSAT prep does not rise to them.
The standard course hands you a pile of tricks, a stack of rules to memorize, and more drills than you could ever finish, then tells you that a plateau means do more. You can run that play for six months and watch your score sit still, because none of it builds the one thing the test rewards, which is understanding what is actually on the page in front of you.
And when you cannot finish a section in time, every course sells you the same fix: go faster, drill speed. That fix is wrong. People who run out of time are not reading too slow. They are reading it twice, because the first pass did not land. This is where almost everyone gets stuck, and it is the exact gap we built the program to close.
- A pile of tricks and a stack of rules to memorize
- More drills than you could ever finish
- A plateau? The answer is always "do more"
- When you run out of time: "go faster, drill speed"
Six months of that play and your score sits still — because none of it builds understanding.
One belief decides the whole product
We are Hey Future Lawyer, and we built this program around one belief. You raise an LSAT score by understanding the test, not by collecting tricks for it.
That belief did not come from a marketing meeting. It came from the classroom. Six years of teaching the LSAT full time, watching up close what actually moved scores and what only kept people busy. The pattern never changed. Students climbed when the reading clicked, and stalled when they were drilling tricks. So we built Hey Future Lawyer to do only the things that work and cut everything that does not.
We are also picky about who this is for. It is built for people who are serious about a top score and a top school, the kind of person who would rather do the real work once than spin on shortcuts for a year. If that is you, you are in the right place.
We teach live, not by video library
A person can catch your thinking the moment it goes wrong and a video cannot.
Every question fully explained
Full written and video explanations of why the right answer is right, so reviewing a set actually teaches you something instead of just scoring you.
We will never coach you to beat the clock
Speed is what you get after you understand, not a thing you can drill on its own.
What you actually get
Here is what is inside the program, piece by piece. The thread through all of it: we make the test make sense, and we tell you exactly what to do, so there is no guesswork.
Your daily plan, built for you, with accountability in your inbox
Most people lose their first month just deciding what to study. You will not. When you start, the program builds you a day by day study plan that tells you exactly what to do each day between now and your test. And it does not sit on a page waiting for you to remember it. Each day the plan lands in your inbox, so the next step is already in your email when you wake up. You always know what to do, and you always know if you are falling behind. That is the difference between a plan you bought and a plan you actually follow.
Understanding first, in everything we teach
Every argument and every passage gets taught for comprehension first. Before any tactics for the answer choices, you learn what the text in front of you is actually saying, because once that is clear the right answer stops being a coin flip.
Live class almost every day, with replays
You learn in real live sessions, not by clicking through recorded videos alone. There is a live class almost every day, so you are never waiting a week to get unstuck, and the moment your reasoning goes sideways someone catches it and fixes it. Miss one and it is recorded, so you catch the replay and keep moving.
Drilling that builds the skill, not just the hours
You get targeted drilling that puts the reading into reps, so the understanding turns into something automatic by test day.
A full explanation behind every question
When you get a question wrong, you need to know why, in detail, or you will get the next one like it wrong too. Every question comes with a complete written and video explanation, so reviewing a set teaches you the reading underneath it instead of just marking what you missed. The whole point is that everything makes sense, not that you memorized it.
A dashboard that shows you exactly where you stand
You can see your progress as you go, what is improving and what still needs work, so you are never guessing whether the plan is working.

That is the whole program. Choose how you want to study it.
Why the jumps come faster
Faster is not a word we toss around. It comes from how the method works. Here is the actual reason.
A trick only helps on the question it was built for
The moment the test changes the pattern, and on the hard questions it always does, the trick is dead and you are stuck. So studying built on tricks buys you the easy points you probably already had and leaves you frozen on the ones that decide your score.
Understanding works on all of it at once
When you can actually read an argument or a passage, that skill shows up on every question on the test, not one type at a time. You are raising the floor under the whole section, which is why the gains keep coming instead of flattening out after the easy wins.
Speed takes care of itself
The people who run out of time are re reading, because the first pass did not land. Read it once and understand it, and you read it once and move on. We never put you on a stopwatch, because rushing a section you do not understand only trades right answers for wrong ones faster.
The correction happens fast too
In a live class, a bad habit in your thinking gets caught the day it shows up, not three weeks later when a score report finally flags it. Short feedback is the entire reason a coach beats a video.
And the review adds up
Because every question has a real explanation behind it, every wrong answer turns into something you understand for next time instead of a mark in a log.
Put it together
You spend less time on busywork that never moved your score and more time on the reading that does. That is why people climb faster with us.
Why we beat the alternative
You have other options. Here is the honest case for why this one gets you further.
We teach understanding, and understanding has no ceiling
Memorize a set of tricks and you hit a wall the second the test stops cooperating, which on a hard section is immediately. Learn to read the test and you keep climbing past where trick studying strands people.
We teach it live, and live is what makes people actually finish
The big self paced courses have completion rates that should scare you, because nobody is watching and nobody corrects you. When you can ask the exact question you are stuck on and get it answered while you are stuck, you keep going, and you keep showing up. A library of videos you watch alone at midnight is a different product than a class you attend.
We built this for people who want a top score, so there is no filler
The platforms that try to be everything to everyone pad their courses to look complete. We cut anything that does not move your score, which is why the program is leaner and hits harder.
Our explanations go all the way down
Most platforms give you an answer key and move on. You get a full written and video breakdown of every question, so the review is where a lot of the learning actually happens.
And you get coaches, not a catalog
We are people on your side who have taken hundreds of students into the 170s. You are not handed a login and left to guess which video to watch next.
If that lands, pick your plan and start. If you want to feel it first, take a free class.
The jumps are the point
Talk is cheap, so here is what it looks like.
"I improved over the summer using Hey Future Lawyer. I just had to leave all the logic from my philosophy degree at the door."
"Just by using HFL, the curriculum, classes, and a little elbow grease, I was able to score a 178 on the LSAT."
"I started at a 153, and in 3 months with Hey Future Lawyer I hit a 171. Now I just have to do it on the real thing."
"When I first started with HFL I was at a 138. I ended up with a 172. This jump has been huge for me."
"I had been stuck in the 130s for so long before switching to HFL. A section a day and I broke into the 170s."
Your jump is next.
Those jumps came out of one of the three programs below. Pick yours.
Choose Your PlanThree levels of support, broken all the way down
There are three ways to study with us. They are three levels of support, and the right one depends on how much is riding on your score.
Elite Live
You want the biggest jump and you want people on your side while you go for it.
The full method taught live almost every day, the complete explanation library, targeted drilling, the progress dashboard, the study schedule that plans your days and emails you, and six months of access from now through test day. Add the Future Lawyer Promise for $499, our score guarantee.
This is the only option with live teaching and correction while you study, which is exactly what produces the biggest and fastest jumps. And remember the math from earlier. One scholarship tied to a higher score pays for this several times over. If your score is carrying real weight, this is the obvious call.
Foundations
You study well on your own and you want the entire system and every explanation, without live sessions.
The full method, the explanation library, targeted drilling, the progress dashboard, and the study schedule generator that plans your days and emails you, all self paced.
The honest tradeoff: you give up live teaching, correction in the moment, and the accountability of a room. If you reliably finish what you start with nobody watching, this works. If you know you do better with structure and a coach, the step up to Elite Live is worth the difference.
Jumpstart
You are early and want to build the right foundation before going deeper, or you want to see how we teach before committing to the whole thing.
The core approach, the study schedule generator that plans your days, and a clear starting point.
The honest framing: this is a foundation, not the full system. It gets you moving the right way, and most people who start here move up to Elite Live once they feel the method working. We would rather tell you that now than oversell it.
How to choose. If your score is doing real work for your admissions and your bill, Elite Live. If you study well on your own and you are on a tighter budget, Foundations. If you are just getting going, Jumpstart. When you are not sure, Elite Live, because it removes every reason a jump stalls.

Questions, answered.
No. The program meets you where you are. You take a diagnostic in your first week, the study plan builds itself around that baseline, and the teaching starts from understanding, not from assumed knowledge. Some of our biggest jumps started in the 130s and 140s.
Most students put in eight to twelve hours a week. The real answer is that you will not have to guess: your study plan tells you exactly what to do each day, sized to your test date, and it lands in your inbox every morning. Consistency beats marathon weekends every time.
There is a live class almost every day, taught by a real instructor you can ask questions while you are stuck. Every class is recorded, so if you miss one you catch the replay and keep moving. Live is the default because correction in the moment is what moves scores, but the replays mean you never fall behind.
Your plan includes six months of full access from the day you start, which is designed to carry you from your first day of prep through test day. Most students test well inside that window. If your test date moves, reach out and we will work with you.
Yes. Elite Live can be paid monthly at checkout instead of one time, and checkout is handled securely through Stripe. If cost is the only thing between you and starting, pick the monthly option and get moving.
The Future Lawyer Promise is our score guarantee, available as a $499 add on with Elite Live. Complete the program and hit your milestones, and we stand behind your score. Full plain-language terms are on our guarantee page, and they carry the least fine print in prep.
Two ways. First, we teach understanding instead of tricks, so your gains keep coming instead of stalling after the easy points. Second, we teach live, so a bad habit gets caught the day it shows up and someone is actually watching whether you show up. A video library you watch alone at midnight is a different product than a class you attend.
